Acceptance

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Jinni app, tryjinni.com, and the related services we provide (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility and age

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. Jinni is not designed or intended for children.

Your account

You are responsible for the security of your account and for activity that happens under it. Use an address you control, keep your sign-in details private, and contact media@sency.ai if you suspect unauthorised use.

What the Service does

Jinni provides general movement and wellness guidance. It uses your device camera to analyse how you move, uses optional readiness signals and your own feedback for context, and recommends and guides sessions that adapt over time. It is a fitness and wellness product.

Camera and device requirements

Camera-based guidance requires a supported iPhone or iPad, camera permission, and a position where the device can see your whole body. Lighting, framing, clothing, and available space all affect how well the analysis works. Guidance may be less accurate when those conditions are poor.

Your responsibility for a safe environment

You are responsible for exercising safely. Before every session:

  • clear enough space to move without hitting anything;
  • place your device where it cannot fall on you or be tripped over;
  • use stable footing and suitable clothing and footwear;
  • make sure any equipment you use is sound and correctly set up.

Stop immediately if you feel sharp pain, dizziness, chest pain, unusual breathlessness, or loss of balance.

General wellness only — not medical care

Jinni is a general wellness product. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, injury, or medical condition, and it is not a substitute for a physician, physical therapist, or other qualified professional. Readiness scores are contextual, not diagnostic. See our Medical Disclaimer.

Limits of AI-generated guidance

Movement analysis and guidance are automated and can be incomplete or wrong. A cue may misread what your body is doing; a recommendation may not suit you on a given day. Use your own judgement, and stop or modify anything that does not feel right for your body.

When to speak with a professional

Consult a qualified professional before using Jinni if you are recovering from surgery or injury, are pregnant, have a significant chronic condition, have been advised to limit activity, or are unsure whether exercise is appropriate for you. If you are in a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services — not this app.

Free trial

Where a plan includes a free trial, new subscribers get full access for the trial length shown for that plan at checkout. We will remind you before the trial ends. If you cancel before it ends, you are not charged. One trial per person, whichever plan it is taken on.

Subscription and renewal

Jinni Pro is offered on more than one plan, and the plans differ in price, billing period and trial length. The price and billing period shown at checkout for the plan you choose are the ones that apply to you, and that plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. The first charge falls on the first day after any free trial ends. Your receipt and the checkout screen show the exact amount and renewal date. Prices may vary by region and by purchase channel. We will give notice before any price change, and you can cancel rather than accept it.

Purchase channels

Where you bought your subscription determines who bills you and where you manage it:

  • App Store. Apple is the seller of record. Apple takes the payment and manages the subscription. Cancel in your Apple subscription settings; Apple's terms apply to the transaction.
  • Web. Paddle.com Market Ltd (“Paddle”) is our authorized reseller and the Merchant of Record. Paddle takes the payment, handles any applicable sales tax or VAT, issues your receipt and invoice, provides transaction-related buyer support, and processes refunds for web payments. You manage the subscription from the receipt Paddle sends you.

You only need one. Holding both at once means paying twice for the same access — if that happens, contact media@sency.ai and we will help you unwind it.

Cancellation

Cancel any time, through the channel you purchased from. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

  • App Store. Cancel in your Apple subscription settings.
  • Web. Cancel from the Paddle receipt email for your subscription, or through Paddle buyer support at paddle.net.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription, and cancelling a subscription does not delete your account.

Refunds

Refunds are issued by whoever sold you the subscription, not by Sency Interactive LTD:

  • App Store purchases are refunded by Apple under Apple's policy.
  • Web purchases are refunded by Paddle, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Request one from your Paddle receipt or through Paddle buyer support at paddle.net.

Every web payment made through Paddle is eligible for a full refund when requested within 14 calendar days of the transaction date. This 14-day refund window has no exceptions or conditions. You can contact media@sency.aifor help, and we can ask Paddle to process the request on your behalf, but Sency Interactive LTD does not itself issue refunds for Paddle transactions. Statutory rights of withdrawal are unaffected by anything in this section. Full detail is in our Refund Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not:

  • use the Service to provide clinical, diagnostic, or rehabilitation services to others;
  • reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the models behind it;
  • share, resell, or sublicense your access;
  • interfere with the Service's operation or security;
  • record other people with the camera without their knowledge and consent.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, models, content, and branding, belongs to Sency Interactive LTD and its licensors. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own movement practice while your subscription is active.

Your content and feedback

Your goals, check-ins, and session history remain yours. If you send us suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them to improve the Service without obligation to you.

Third-party services

The Service works with third parties including Apple, Apple Health, and our payment providers. Their terms govern their own services, and we are not responsible for them.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that guidance will be accurate, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that it will produce any particular result.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sency Interactive LTD is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or if we are required to. If we end your access without cause, we will refund the unused portion of a period you have paid for.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Sency Interactive LTD at its registered seat, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence continue to apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top reflects the current version, and we will give notice before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
