Jinni is a general wellness product

Jinni provides general movement and wellness guidance. It is designed to help you move more comfortably and confidently in everyday life. It is not a medical device unless separately certified as one, and it is not certified as one today.

Jinni does not diagnose or treat

Jinni does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, injury, or medical condition. It cannot tell you why something hurts, whether an injury has healed, or whether a movement is safe for your particular body. Nothing it shows you is a medical opinion.

Automated guidance can be wrong

Camera-based analysis and AI cues are automated and imperfect. A cue may misread your position; a recommendation may not suit you on a given day. Lighting, framing, clothing, and camera angle all affect accuracy. Treat guidance as a helpful second opinion about movement, not an instruction you must follow.

Readiness is context, not a diagnosis

Readiness combines signals such as sleep, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, recent activity, and your own check-in. It exists to shape a session. It is not a health score, it does not detect illness, and a low or high number says nothing clinical about you. Apple Health data is used as context, never interpreted medically.

When to consult a professional

Speak with a qualified healthcare professional before using Jinni if you:

  • are recovering from surgery or a recent injury;
  • are undergoing rehabilitation, or have been given a prescribed exercise program;
  • are pregnant or recently postpartum;
  • have a significant chronic condition, including cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, or joint conditions;
  • have been advised to limit or avoid physical activity;
  • are unsure whether exercise is appropriate for you.

If a professional has given you specific guidance, follow it — theirs is informed by your history, and Jinni's is not.

Stop if you experience any of these

Stop the session immediately if you experience:

  • sharp, sudden, or worsening pain;
  • chest pain, pressure, or tightness;
  • dizziness, faintness, or nausea;
  • shortness of breath beyond normal exertion;
  • loss of balance or coordination;
  • numbness, tingling, or weakness;
  • any symptom that concerns you.

If you think you may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. Do not wait, and do not use this app to decide.

Your environment is your responsibility

You are responsible for exercising in a safe space: enough clear room to move, stable device placement, secure footing, suitable clothing and footwear, and equipment that is sound and correctly set up. Jinni cannot see hazards outside the camera frame.

No guarantee of outcome

Movement outcomes vary between people and over time. Jinni makes no promise about mobility, strength, balance, comfort, weight, or any other result. Consistency helps; a guarantee is not something any honest movement product can offer.
